The longitudinal clip shoe, at a ballpoint or marker pen or propelling pencil, to take a personalised clip (2), has two parallel walls projecting from a flat visible bar (6). The gap between them, across its length, matches the width of the clip. Also claimed is an injection mould for the clip shoe in two half sections, where one shapes the whole of the clip shoe. The second section has a slightly recessed flat plane for the insertion of a plate for moulding the logo or other symbol carried by the clip.
