The connection has a two-part housing with a concertina section. The radially wider middle part (5) of the housing is separate from the second housing part (2). The outer periphery of the damping insertion piece (12) rests against the inner wall of the radially wider middle part. The spiral spring (3) at least partly encloses the first housing part (1) which is in the form of a cylindrical sleeve (1). The end of the cylindrical sleeve facing away from the second housing part (2) has a radially outward protruding annular protuberance (4) against which the end of the spring is axially supported. The end of the second housing part, facing the first housing part has a cylindrical end part (8). The second housing part consists of two sections (2a, b) positioned axially directly behind each other and joined by a butt-welded seam (13).
