<p>A pipe end fitting (1) for mounting on a folded pipe-shaped liner (12) of plastics, preferably of polyethylene. The pipe end fitting comprises a plastics plate (4) with one or more preformed, through-going holes (4a, 4b), and a first pipe stub member (5) extending from one side of the plate essentially perpendicular thereto. The latter has an outer profile corresponding to the outer profile of the cross section of said folded liner (12). The pipe stub member (5) circumscribes the portion of the plate provided with the holes (4a, 4b). A second pipe stub member of an essentially circular cross section extends from the other side of the plate (4) essentially perpendicular thereto. This pipe stub member circumscribes said portion of the plate provided with the hole(s) (4a, 4b). As a result, a pipe end fitting ready for use is obtained without initially having to drill holes and which, moreover can be used several times.</p> |
