Concrete drain-pipe with flat side=face

The pipe's flattened side-face is wider than all the remaining longways surfaces of the pipe running parallel to the flat face and at distance from this. Thus the outside section of the pipe presents a triangle, right angle, polygon or again is half-round, radiused, trapezoidal, arcuate or acutely angled profile or a combination of these sections. The pipe has a round radiused clear inside section and is fitted with eyelets for, e.g. crane hooks. Mouldings such as branches, entries or other pipe details are made as an exact fit to the drain-pipe. The pipe is laid flat side down in a trench etc. which is then filled in and compacted in the normal manner, requiring top and side filling only as the flat side bears directly on the trench bottom.
