The invention relates to a bearing arrangement for two mutually inclined components within a housing. It is known practice, for the acceptance of radial and axial forces which occur, to support the drive shaft by means of two ball bearings arranged next to one another or to use a taper roller bearing, the axial distance between the force introduction point and the centre of the bearing being relatively large. The object of the invention is to provide a bearing arrangement of optimum configuration in terms of installation space by means of which it is at the same time possible to increase the life of the rolling contact bearings. The invention provides a drive shaft (6) mounted in rolling contact bearings, the rolling contact bearing (8) having an inner race (13) which is designed as a multi-functional part, i.e. attached directly to it is a gear (11) which is in mesh at (30) with an adjacent gear (12) forming part of a cylindrical drum (7) inserted into the housing (4) at an angle to the rolling contact bearing (8).
