PURPOSE:To transfer a different word number between respective processor elements by preventing invalid data from being written in a memory, when the unvalid data is received. CONSTITUTION:In case the data is transferred between the respective processor elements (PE), all the PEs transfer the data by the same number in the same direction. When a transfer instruction is decoded by a processor control part body 11, a transferring direction and a word number to be transferred are determined. After a synchronization between all the PEs is acquired, the first data to be transferred is read out from the memory 12, and transferred, and '1' is subtracted from a word number to be transferred. Next, if the received data is a valid data, it is written in the memory, and received word number is made +1. If the received data is the invalid data, nothing is done. When the word number to be transmitted comes to '0', the invalid data is transmitted. When the word numbers to be transmitted of all the PEs come to '0', the transfer is finished. |
