PURPOSE:To impart high deep color effects and the durability thereof in cleaning to an animal fiber product by treating the animal fiber product with a low- temperature plasma, dyeing the treated product and then treating the dyed product with a compound having a low refractive index. CONSTITUTION:This method for deep coloring processing of an animal fiber product is to previously carry out the treatment of the animal fiber product such as a sheep, a camel, a goat or a rabbit with a low-temperature plasma, then dye the treated animal fiber product with an acid dye, etc., according to a conventional method, subsequently apply a dispersion of a low-refractive index compound having <=1.4 refractive index, e.g. a silicone-based or a polyurethane-based resin to the dyed product, dry the resultant product and then heat-treat the dried product. The resultant animal fiber product is excellent in dry cleaning fastness and capable of manifesting high deep color effects. |
