PURPOSE:To provide a socket improved in mounting property of lamp. CONSTITUTION:A socket 1 has a holding part 14 for inserting the base 4 of a lamp 2, a first contact piece 16 situated on the side surface of the holding part 14 and making contact with the base 4, and a second contact piece 17 situated on the bottom part of the holding part 15 and making contact with a bottom surface terminal 6. The first contact piece 16, which is elastic, is evacuated to the outside when the base 4 is advanced into the holding part 15, returned in the state where the bottom surface terminal 6 is in contact with the second contact piece 17, and engaged with the spiral groove 7 of the base 4. |
