<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetic card which is high in productivity and stable in quality at a low cost by a method wherein a character or the like-printed layer is formed on one side face of a magnetic sheet formed by transferring a magnetic recording layer and a concealing layer onto one side face of a base material by peeling off a release film after sticking one side face of a specific thick thermoplastic resin material to a surface of the magnetic recording layer of a transfer film, and thereafter it is punched. CONSTITUTION:A concealing layer 3 for concealing color development of a magnetic recording layer 4 is formed on a face having a release effect of a thermoplastic resin- made release film 1 having the release effect on one side face. The magnetic recording layer 4 is laminated on the concealing layer 3 to make it a transfer film 10. All one side face of a base material consisting of a thermoplastic resin of at least 0.6mm thickness is bonded to a face of the magnetic recording layer 4 of the transfer film 10. Thereafter, by peeling off the release film 1, the magnetic recording layer 4 and the concealing layer 3 are transferred onto all the one side face of the base material to form a magnetic sheet 11. Then, a printed layer 7 of a character, a pattern, etc., and, if necessary, a protective layer 8 are successively 1a-minated on one side face of the magnetic sheet 11, which is punched to a specific size.</p> |
