<p>PURPOSE:To provide a mounting pipe to provide a reliable cutoff state through simple execution of a work and a method for joining a mounting pipe with a buried main pipe by using the mounting pipe. CONSTITUTION:In a method for joining a mounting pipe 1 with a buried main pipe 2, the mounting pipe 1 is intended to be joined with the outer peripheral surface of the buried main pipe 2. The opposite arcuate part 11 of the tip of the mounting pipe 1 is protruded approximately in the shape of a bow in the axial direction of a pipe and a groove part 12 in the shape of a chevron as seen from a side crossing the axial direction of the pipe at right angles is formed. In a state that the outer perpheral surface of the buried main pipe 2 is brought into contact with a space between the groove parts 12 and the mounting pipe 1 effects allowable maximum displacement from the buried main pipe 2, the arcuate part 11 is brought into contact along with the outer peripheral surface of the buried main pipe 2. Further, in a state that the tip part of the mounting pipe 1 is brought into contact with the outer peripheral surface of the buried main pipe 2, the tip part of the mounting pipe 1 is joined with a joining hole 21 drilled in the buried main pipe 2 by mounting a resin mat 4 from the inner side of the buried main pipe 2.</p> |
