PURPOSE:To provide an apparatus for measuring the environmental condition, e.g. temperature or humidity, in which the measurable range is widened, and high performance and accuracy are achieved while reducing the cost. CONSTITUTION:A thermister 103 having resistance variable with temperature and a humidity sensor 104 having resistance variable with the humidity are provided as detection elements having resistance variable depending on the environment, and capacitors 114, 115 are connected in series with the humidity sensor 104. A detecting means 113 produces a detection signal of environment (humidity) corresponding to the resistance of the humidity sensor 104 when the capacitor 115 is charged through the humidity sensor 104. The humidity sensor 104 is also connected through resistors 116, 117 with oscillation circuits 110, 111 for applying predetermined oscillation outputs and a switch 112 and the frequency of oscillation output being applied to the humidity sensor 104 is switched depending on the resistance of the humidity sensor 104. |
