PURPOSE:To obtain the subject new compound, excellent in film adhesion to organic and inorganic materials and further properties of imparting water and oil repellencies, lubricity and rust preventing properties, etc., and useful as treating agents, etc., for copper foils such as copper-clad laminated sheets for printed circuits. CONSTITUTION:This compound is expressed by formula 1 {R1 is a group expressed by formula II [R3 is F or CF3; (n) is 1-15]; R2 is a group expressed by formula III [R4 and R5 are each a 1-4C alkyl; (m) is 0-3]}, e.g. [1-(benzotriazol-1-yl)-3-perfluorooctyllpropan-2yl triethoxysilyltrimethyleneimino- carboxylate. The compound expressed by formula I in which R3 is H with a compound expressed by formula IV. |
