MULTILAYER LABEL MATERIAL

PURPOSE: To provide a label material which can be printed and decorated, has much higher durability and is hardly damaged by tearing and pitching during handling. CONSTITUTION: A label material 10 is provided by simultaneously extruding styrene unfoamed layer 11 and a styrene foamed layer 12 which constitute substential constrastive parts. Then, an additional transparent or semitransparent unfoamed plastic layer is adhered to the unfoamed layers 11 together with print sandwiched between these unfoamed layers. The print is provided onto the other side of unfoamed layer 11 or additional transparent or semitransparent unfoamed layer of materials extruded at the same time. This label is cut from the label material 10 and packaged around a hollow vessel.
