PURPOSE:To prevent the molten metal from flowing into a product part in a turbulent flow state and to always bring new high-temp. molten metal into contact with the product part even if the product is long and large in the vertical direction. CONSTITUTION:At least one upper sub runner 32 is provided at the upper part of a lower sub-runner 26 where one side is connected to a main runner 22 and the other side is connected to a bottom part 28a of a product part 28 through a gate 30, and the upper sub-runner 32 is constituted of a lower runner 34 to be connected to the main runner 22, an upper runner 36 which is located higher than the lower runner 34 and connected between the bottom part 28a and a top part 28b of the product part 40 through a gate 40, and a connecting runner 38 to connect the upper runner 26 to the lower runner 34. After the inflow of the molten metal from the lower sub-runner 26 to the product part 28 is completed, the inflow of the molten metal from the upper sub-runner 32 to the product part 28 is started. |
