PURPOSE:To prevent discharge to a photoreceptor by excellently performing a carry and separation of a paper sheet to a transfer belt when it is forcibly discharged when a jam is caused in a paper sheet carrying passage in a device to transfer an image from photoreceptor drums to the paper sheet by electrostatically sticking the paper sheet on an electrifying belt. CONSTITUTION:In an image forming device to create a full color copy by transferring a toner image from plural photoreceptor drums 3, 3a... by discharge of transfer corotrons 30 to 33 by holding a paper sheet by a transfer belt 4, an electrifying corotron 35 is arranged on the transfer belt 4, and the paper sheet is held, and the paper sheet is separated by using a separating corotron 36 in a separating position. When a jam is caused in a paper sheet carrying passage, a forcibly discharging mode is set, and electrification and electrostatic elimination to from the belt is performed, and while performing electrifying and electrostatic eliminating operation on the photoreceptor drums, the paper sheet is carried, and is discharged as a blank paper. |
