<p>PURPOSE:To make teaching operation efficient by specifying a selection or combination of sequence patterns and specifying a variable value included in position data when a work shape and an operation sequence osculate with each other. CONSTITUTION:A sample program matching an application is generated first on a personal computer 20. Then a graphic menu for prompting operator's input is generated. A conversion expression showing necessary teaching point positions is generated by using parameters. Image data and relative information on the graphic menu are registered in a pattern library. Then a sample program matching scheduled operation is selected in the pattern library. An operator inputs respective parameters over a look at a graphic image corresponding to the sample program. Then a conversion expression program in a ROM 22 is called and read out onto a RAM 23 and necessary teaching point positions are calculated to generate a robot operation program.</p> |
