PRODUCTION OF PATTERN FILE FOR IC CARD ACCESS

PURPOSE:To effectively produce a pattern file in order to record the different personal information for each IC card. CONSTITUTION:The prescribed commands are sent to the IC cards 10 and 20 from a reader/writer device 30, and the cards 10 and 20 send the responses to the device 30. These transmission of commands and return of responses are carried out based on a pattern file where the commands and responses are arranged. A host computer 40 produces the pattern files for each individual based on a personal information file 42 which stores plural pieces of personal information for each record, a model pattern file 41 where a command and its response are described in a 1st format in reference to an instruction ordering to partly take the data out of the file 42, and a conversion table 43 which converts the 1st format into a 2nd format that can be decoded by the device 30.
