PURPOSE:To suppress the rapid fluctuation of load torque of a clutchless compressor and to perform reliable return of a displacement. CONSTITUTION:When the inclination angle of a swash plate 15 supported on a rotary shaft 9 is decreased to a minimum inclination angle, a transmission cylinder 28 and a cutoff body 21 are pushed by the swash plate 15 against the spring force of a suction passage release spring 24. The tip surface of the cutoff body 21 abuts on a valve forming plate 5A when the inclination angle of the swash plate is a minimum inclination angle and communication between a suction passage 26 and a suction chamber 3a is disconnected. A valve forming plate 5A of which a suction valve 5a is formed is made of iron and the cutoff body 21 is made of aluminum.
