<p>PURPOSE:To measure simultaneously three dimensional positions by obtaining the three dimensional positions by photographing several pieces of LED provided on face bows fixed on the upper and lower jaws, obtaining the conversion coefficient from the lower jaw coordinate to the upper jaw coordinate from these values and converting the position of specified point of the lower jaw coordinate to a measuring coordinate. CONSTITUTION:Face bows 1 and 2 provided with each two pieces of LED(light emitting diodes) on the left and the right and fixed on the upper jaw and the lower jaw, are provided and the LED are photographed by means of cameras 3 and 4 to obtain the three dimensional position of each four pieces of LED on the left side and the right side. Then, a conversion coefficient for converting the coordinate SIGMAL of the face bow 2 to the coordinate SIGMAU of the face bow 2 is calculated from the obtd. eight three dimensional positional data by a conversion coefficient calculating means 5. In addition, the position of a point P on the coordinate SIGMAL is converted to the coordinate SIGMAH by a converting means 6 by using the obtd. conversion coefficient and a conversion coefficient from the coordinate SIGMAU to a measurement coordinate SIGMAH and the three dimensional position or the converted point P is outputted from an outputting means 7.</p> |
