INTERFACE OF LIGHT PIP

PURPOSE:To provide an interface of light pipe in which high detection sensitivity can be achieved without lowering separability of chromato-peak. CONSTITUTION:A sweep gas introduction path 9 having an opening 9a surrounding the opening 1a of a capillary 1 is provided in a sweep chamber 4 formed in a holder 3 for coupling a light pipe 2 with the capillary 1 for introducing a sample gas through a column of gas chromatograph. A sweep gas jet groove 10 is made on the inside of a window 7 directly facing the light pipe 2.
