MULTI-SCREEN TELEVISION RECEIVER

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain a multi-screen television receiver in which the deterioration in image quality is less when an interlace signal and a noninterlace signal are simultaneously displayed. CONSTITUTION:The television receiver is provided with an interlace/noninterlace discrimination circuit 14 and when either of main and sub-screen has a noninterlace signal, a changeover control section 6 switches an input signal changeover section 5 automatically so that the signal of the main screen being a reference of a deflection system is used for the interlace signal and the signal of the sub screen is used for the noninterlace signal. Thus, the main screen side is subjected to interlace scanning by the interlace signal and no image quality deterioration is caused.
