PURPOSE: To manufacture an element at a low cost and highly integrated a fiber supporting structure and an electrically supporting circuit by including a conductive operational leg and a second leg and establishing the difference of thermal expansion concerning the two legs. CONSTITUTION: A thermally deflectable switch actuator 50 includes the operational leg 88 and the second leg 86. In this case, the legs are formed with a substrate to generate the difference of thermal expansion between both of the legs in connecting with a current source. In addition at least a part of the operational leg 88 is provided with thickness larger than that of the second leg 86, and the second leg 86 is provided with a cross section larger than the operational leg 88 to be provided with electrical resistance lower than that of the operational leg 88. Then a current passes through both legs 86 and 88, the operational leg 88 received temp. variation larger than the second leg 86 to generate the difference of thermal expansion. Then a movable optical fiber 48 is pushed from a first position to a second position by the deflection of the second leg 86. |
