<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the genetically equal bodies of the plant in a large amount in a short time by differentiating an adventitious bud obtained from the tissue of the plant belonging to the section Leuce in a specific culture medium to efficiently produce the plant bodies suitable for broad-leaved tree wood used for the production of pulp. CONSTITUTION:The production of the plant bodies is performed by differentiating an adventitious bud obtained from either of the stem, shoot apex, terminal bud, lateral bud and petiole of the plant belonging to the section Leuce in the genus Populus, such as a hybridized Leuce (Populus sieboldii X Populus grandidentata), in a culture medium having an ammonium nitrogen concentration of 1-15mM and a nitrate nitrogen concentration of 15-50mM as a nitrogen source. The molar concentration ratio of the ammonium nitrogen source to the nitrate nitrogen source, both the sources being used for the culture medium for the differentiation of the adventitious bud, is preferably 1/2 to 1/5.</p> |
