PURPOSE:To enable setting of an application mode freely regardless of a plural ity of types of syringes to be set by detecting the capacity of the set syringe to input the type and the application mode of the set syringe while the using condition of a syringe pump is monitored. CONSTITUTION:When a power source switch 2 is turned ON, functions are checked with a detection/monitoring device incorporated. After the end of the checking, the setting of an injection quantity is given on a zero basis with a display section 18. When a syringe to be used sequentially is set by the operation of a clamp 103, the capacity of the syringe to be used is detected and any of syringe display lamps 23-25 comes ON. Then, an input switch 29 is depressed and display lamps 33-30 are switched in the sequence of continuous liquid feeding, repeated liquid feeding, intermittent liquid feeding, program, continuous liquid feeding ... to set an application mode. Then, for example, in the continuous liquid feeding, a numeric key 17 is depressed to set the amount of liquid to be fed and injection is executed by ON operation of a start switch 6. |
