PURPOSE:To provide a vocal cancelling circuit in which vocal components are attenuated without switching-over of a circuit independently of stereophonic or monophonic signals. CONSTITUTION:Sum signals (L+R) and difference signals (L-R) are respectively generated by an adding circuit 3 and a subtracting circuit 4 from two channel original signals (L and R). Vocal components are attenuated by passing the sum signals (L+R) through a B.E.F 5. The filter output is added with the difference signal (L-R) in phase, which has been phase-compensated at a phase compensating circuit 8, at an adding circuit 6 to derive the difference signal as L channel output signal, and by adding the difference signal (L-R) after being phase-compensated in antiphase at an adding circuit 7, the filter output is derived as R channel output signal. |
