PURPOSE:To provide a suitable information for informing respective users by using the registered information of the respective users stored in a center, selecting the information suitable for informing the user and providing it along with program information selected by the user. CONSTITUTION:The user selects the program information from a menu displayed at a terminal or the like (P21) and the center reads the registered information of the user from a data base (P22). Then, the center reads the information (assumed user information) of the user for providing the respective information from the data base, obtains the degree of coincidence by using the assumed user information and previously read user registered information (P23) and selects the information provided with the highest degree of coincidence in principle. Further, a position for adding the information is manually recorded at the time of registering the program information and the information to be added is added to the position. Then, the user is provided with the selected information along with the information selected by the user (P26). |
