<p>PURPOSE:To provide a resin processing apparatus capable of directly decomposing crushed resin pieces with heat to continuously extract and recover raw material components from the resin by using a crushing mechanism to crush a resin material and a decomposition treatment means to effect the thermal decomposition of resin pieces crushed by the crushing mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A resin material 3 placed on a feeding conveyor 10 is supplied through an introducing part 10a and a guide plate 11 to a crushing part composed of rotary crushing shafts 12, 13. The crushing of the resin 3 is surely and efficiently performed by rotating a pull-in rotor 14 placed above the crushing part and pulling the resin material 3 into the gap between the rotary crushing shafts 12, 13 by the pull-in arms 141 of the rotor. The resin pieces formed by the crushing action of the rotary crushing shafts 12, 13 are dropped into a container 16, transferred through a transfer pipe by a screw conveyor 17 and directly thrown into a decomposition furnace. The decomposition furnace is charged with calcium hydroxide as a catalyst or oxygen to promote the decomposition of the polymer.</p> |
