<p>PURPOSE:To provide a treatment method and apparatus in which bulky thermofusible plastic waste is compressed to reduce its volume. CONSTITUTION:Waste material such as thermofusible plastic string 1 is placed in a compression chamber 2 to be compressed with a compression board 3 contacted from above. Plural heaters 6 heated at a fusion temperature are inserted into plural through holes 3a so that the compressed waste material is contacted with the heater 6. A part of the waste material contacted with the heater 6 is fused to be integrated, reducing the volume.</p> |
