PURPOSE: To obtain a solid lipophilic composition suitable for topical application to human skin. CONSTITUTION: This solid lipophilic cosmetic comprises (A) 1.5-30 wt.% dibenzyl monosorbitol acetal(DBMSA), (B) 70-98.2 wt.% lipophilic materials, preferably at least 80 wt.% lipophilic oil (e.g. mineral oil, castor oil, squalene of fatty acid), as necessary, <20 wt.% lipophilic wax and (C) 0.5-28.5 wt.% cosmetic material selected from a group comprising coloring agents, perfumes, sunscreen agents, dermatological agents and mixture thereof. The sunscreen agent includes dioxybenzene, 2-ethylhexyl 2-cyano-3,3-diphenyl acrylate, 2-ethylhexyl salicylate or mentylanthranilate and the dermatological agent includes a vitamin, an inflammation-preventing agent, a hydroxy acid, a hydroxy acid derivative (e.g. lactide or glycolide).
