PURPOSE:To restrain the occupation factor of wiring channels around a connector means at a rotary section for steering by making up an ECU integrally with an air bag module for an assistant driver's seat in the air bag device equipped with respective air bags capable of being inflated for the assistant driver's seat and a driver's seat. CONSTITUTION:An electronic control means (ECU) 4 controlling the starting of each, inflator, is provided while being integrated with an air bag module for an assistant driver's seat out of air bags and air bag modules 1 and 2 for the assistant driver's eat and a driver's seat, which are equipped with each inflator developing gas for inflating and developing the air bags. Starting current is supplied to the ECU 4 from a power supply 3 through a wire harness 5. The ECU 4 is also connected to the inflator of the air bag module 2 for the driver's seat by a wireharness provided with connector means 10 having a spiral cable 9 making electrical connection between the direction of steering and the direction of a chassis, and through which each inflator is started so as to be controlled.
