<p>PURPOSE:To rapidly optimize the amt. of ammonia to be injected corresponding to the variations in the boiler load in accordance with the amt. of generated SO3 and to reduce the consumption of ammonia. CONSTITUTION:A denitrator 12, an air heater 14 and an electrostatic precipitator 16 are successively provided on the downstream side of a boiler 10, ammonia is injected into a flue 32 between the heater 14 and precipitator 16, and hence the SOx in a gas is allowed to react with the ammonia and reduced. In this case, the SO2 concns. in the waste combustion gas on the outlet side of the boiler 10 and on the outlet side of the heater 14 are detected by SO2 analyzers 24 and 26, and the amt. of ammonia to be injected into the flue 32 is controlled based on the difference between the respective SO2 concns. (equivalent to the SO3 concn. in the waste gas).</p> |
