PURPOSE:To enable diagnosis with an ultrasonic endoscope by a method wherein a balloon is provided on the internal and external surfaces of a support ring in a ring-shaped balloon with a lumen and a string medical device to be introduced into or taken out of an in vivo organ is allowed to load or unload so that the inside of a thick hollow organ is kept liquidtight. CONSTITUTION:A ring-shaped balloon 2 is mounted on a cylindrical support ring 1 having a cut for loading or unloading a string medical device and a lumen 3 is led into the balloon 2. A connector port 4 and a valve 5 are connected to the lumen 3 and the connector port 4 is connected to an air source to expand the balloon 2 by the operation of a link valve 5. For example, when observing an esophagus, an optical type endoscope is fixed by the expansion of an internal balloon and the balloon 2 is fixed on the wall of the esophagus by the expansion of an external balloon. Then, the internal balloon is contracted to pull out the optical type endoscope and the internal balloon is expanded again to close the esophagus. Thus, the esophagus is made watertight with a catheter when observing the esophagus with an ultrasonic endoscope. |
