PURPOSE:To stably use the lower nozzle brick without deteriorating the spalling resistance by improving the corrosion resistance in the lower nozzle brick for an alumina carbon based slide gate. CONSTITUTION:In the lower nozzle brick for an alumina carbon based slide gate, 10-70wt.% alumina magnesia spinel based raw material having the chemical composition consisting of, by weight, 35-75% Al2O3 and 25-65% MgO is used. In the upper nozzle brick for alumina carbon based SN.where alumina magnesia spinel based raw material is used, the spalling resistance is kept, the corrosion resistance is greatly improved, and the durability is improved compared with the conventional upper nozzle brick for alumina carbon based SN even in the practical use, and realizing the more stable use. |
