PURPOSE: To increase density of a signal pin, by attaching a shield unit having bridge connected shields to a base part of a daughter board connector element and by connecting a contact pin of the shield unit to a daughter board. CONSTITUTION: A shield unit 10 consists of a shield part 12 which includes two shield plates 16, 18 which are connected each other by a bridge 34 and have a contact pin 36, and a contact part 14 which has a contact arm 30 and is held by a receptacle holder 20 of the plates 16, 18. The unit 10 is attached to a base part 52 of a reinforcing plate 80 of a nonconductive daughter board element 50, and the corresponding part of a board 90 which is fixed by an attaching tool 62 and the pin 36 are connected each other. This structure increases the signal pin density and signal safety at position connecting part with relatively low standard. |
