PURPOSE:To immediately confirm whether a selected result is the one intended by a user or not by providing a camera with a display device displaying an area which is not selected by a selection means in a second display form being different from a first display form. CONSTITUTION:When the user looks at a proper position out of three photometry positions of marks 301-303 showing photometry ranges, a line-of-sight display mark 304 is moved and superposed on a photometry display. Next, when a release button is half-depressed, the photometry position is fixed and the color of a selected display among range-finding marks 206-208 is changed or made to flicker. Simultaneously, photometry at the photometry position is started and a calculated shutter speed and a calculated diaphragm value are displayed as displayed photographing information 209 and 210. Besides, when the release button is deeply depressed, a switch is turned on and a releasing action is executed. In such a case, when the range-finding position is inputted, the brightness of a field corresponding to the range-finding position can be also automatically set. |
