<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the deformation or damage of a sheet at the time of sheet loading and housing time regardless of the sheet size. CONSTITUTION:A sheet housing device and an image forming device are provided with an intermediate plate 29 where notch parts 29b and 29c are formed in a part of a sheet loading surface, a rear end regulating plate 32 to position a sheet P loaded on the intermediate plate 29 in the lengthwise direction and side regulating plates 30 and 31 which can move the notch parts 29b and 29c to position the sheet P loaded on the intermediate plate 29 in the width direction, and are provided with swinging arms 36 and 36 and connecting arms 38 and 38 whose fixed ends are rotatably fixed to the intermediate plate 29 and which shield a part of the notch parts 29b and 29c energized so that the free ends are brought into contact with the side regulating plates 30 and 31. The swinging arms 36 and 36 and the connecting arms 38 and 38 vary shielding areas of the notch parts 29b and 29c of the intermediate plate 29 by interlocking with moving operation of the side regulating plates 30 and 31.</p> |
