<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a mechanical disc brake which has high braking efficiency and is excellent in reduction of size and layout property. CONSTITUTION:A disc brake device is so constructed that a piston 26 provided on a caliper 24 disposed in such a manner as to stride over the outer edge of a rotor is disposed facing the rotor surface in such a manner as to go in and out, and the rotor can be pressed by the piston reaction forced. A face plate 44 rotated by a rotating shaft 36 is provided between the piston 26 and the reaction force receiving part 34 of the caliper 24. A pair of ring members 46R, 46L are installed on both surface parts of the face plate 44 in such a manner as to move along the shaft 36, and a first ball lamp mechanism 48 is disposed between the face plate and the paired ring members. Second ball lamp mechanisms 50R, 50L are provided between the ring member 46 and the piston 26 and between the ring member and the reaction force receiving part 34, respectively. The angle alpha of inclined surface of an inclined groove in one ball lamp mechanism 48 is set larger than the angle beta of inclined surface of the other ball lamp mechanism 50.</p> |
