PURPOSE:To obtain an oiling agent, containing a fatty acid ester and a salt of a specific carboxylic acid with an organic amine derivative cation and capable of preventing the oiling agent applied from scattering in high-speed spinning, reducing a loss thereof and improving the working environment. CONSTITUTION:This spinning oiling agent for synthetic fibers is obtained by blending (A) a fatty acid ester in an amount of 55-85 wt.% (based on the total weight of the spinning oiling agent) with (B) a salt of a carboxylic acid having a 6-14C alkyl group (preferred example: 2-ethylhexane or caprylic acid) with an organic amine derivative cation having a 6-14 alkyl group, e.g. a quaternary ammonium cation such as trimethyloctylammonium in an amount of 1-6wt.% (based on the total weight of the spinning oiling agent) and (C) a surfactant, preferably an anionic surfactant and providing an aqueous emulsion. The resultant spinning oiling agent for the synthetic fibers is capable of preventing the emulsion from scattering and manifesting excellent yarn manufacturing effects when oiled to a polyester or nylon in high-speed spinning thereof without causing a loss in the oiling agent or polluting the working environment. |
