PURPOSE:To prevent a sound medium from penetrating and transmitting into an org. polymer material at the tip of an ultrasonic probe and to prevent the characteristics from deteriorating. CONSTITUTION:A GND electrode 7 and a plus side electrode 8 formed on a piezoelectric element 5 are connected with a signal line 10 and a peripheral line 11 of a coaxial cable 13 with conductive resins 9a-c. This part is sealed and protected with an epoxy resin 12. The resin 12, etc., are protected with a film 30 consisting of a hydrophobic org. inorg. material. |
