The peeling knife (15) is connected to an oscillating arm (13) that protrudes through an opening (14) in the container (1) and connects to an electrical drive unit (8) that is located in a housing (5) that is connected to the side of the container (1). The position of the electrical drive unit (8) in the housing (5) and consequently the length by which the knife-edge (17) projects above the surface (18) of the container lid (4) is adjustable via a worm gear (11) with a thumb screw (12). A fruit shown as a circle (19) is peeled by the oscillating movements of the knife (15) while being moved along the surface (18) of the lid (4).</p> |
