The concrete compound with a liquid glass substance is suitable for flameproof concrete production. Concrete made of this compound, in comparison with other similar concretes, is characterized by a small deformation in high temperatures, while maintaining its strength.This characteristic comes through using opokas as a filling in a concrete compound, where the proportion of the following components is, mass %:Opokas break stone (5-20 mm) 23-41Opokas sand (0-5 mm) 29-34Dispersive firestone additive 14-18Ferrochromium slag 6-11Liquid glass 10-14The X-ray examinations show that at a temperature of 1,200 degrees C, the main crystal stage - high-temperature a-wollastonite appears. In particular, it clearly manifests during the opokas and water-glass reaction. Supposedly the a-wollastonite crystals disturb the amorphous stage deformations at high temperatures. |
