<p>An apparatus (30) for use in plastics sheet wrapping of rolled-up carpet materials in particular. The apparatus comprises means which are adapted to weld the plastics sheet material parts along an annular, outwardly directed edge area at the adjacent one end of the edge tube (2). This provides a particularly tight package, while the tubes can readily be mounted on rods on fork-lift trucks.</p> |
