Worm extruder for ceramic material

The extruder has a cylinder divided longitudinally into two halves. The longitudinal edges (16,17) of the wear insertion pieces (12-15) are attached by wedge strips (20,24,25) which are fixed into a wedge-shaped groove (19,20) in the cylinder. Two wedge shaped strips are contained in the cylinder's wedge shaped grooves so that one strip (24) is screwed to one half (1), and the other (25) to the other half (2). The fixture screws (26) are turned in tangential recessed holes (27) in the cylinder halves. Each cylinder half has two wear insertion pieces extending over a peripheral angle of 90 degrees. The wear insertion pieces are positioned by wedge shaped strips on the separation surface (3) between the cylinder halves and are held by a wedge shaped strip (21) between the cylinder halves.
