The docking assembly comprises a tubing 1 affixed to the proximal end of a guidewire 2. Inside the tubing 1 is a shoulder 5 and a ramp 8 for directing and positioning a bolt 13 arranged at the end of a resilient shaft 11, 12 affixed to the distal end of the extension wire 10. Provides a positive locking action for the guidewire and extension wire and direct unlocking thereof. $$
