The machine has two or more driving wheels (4 - 7) at the front, and a steering land-wheel (9) at the rear. The drive to the front wheels enables them to run at different speeds and in different directions. The land-wheel is coupled to an emitter supplying mechanical or electronic control signals to the front wheels dependent on its angular position. A switch or impulse can provide automatic control of the front wheels when the land-wheel has deflected from the straight-ahead position for a predetermined angle, typically 15 deg.
