The additional jet body (24) has a number of apertures. It is located mainly at right angles to the longitudinal axis of the first jet body (20), and/or the pressure pipe (18). The second jet body is filled with cleaning fluid by a control mechanism (22,26). The apertures of the second body are at an angle to the longitudinal axis of the body. The second jet body is turnable, and its apertures are positioned, so that it rotates when the cleaning fluid is ejected. The body of the jet is supplied with cleaning fluid dependent upon the distance between channel wall and a part of the cleaning appliance (10).
