Producing colour printed image from scanner

The process recommends that, in addition to the three base colours cyan magenta and yellow commonly used with black in most colour printing, an additional colour should be used. This additional colour can be freely chosen from the three red, green, blue which are formed by mixing two of the base colours. During its use, secondary colours formed with the two base colours to which it corresponds are left out. Secondary colours formed using this additional colour nd the bae colours will have clearer, brighter tone values than when block is the only other determinant of secondary colour formation. Tonal values can be raised by up to 33 per cent.
