<p>The invention relates to a tool for cutting an object (28), comprising at least a first and a second cutting member (2, 3; 30, 31), each of which comprising at least one edge (8; 39), wherein the edges (8; 39) of the cutting members (2, 3; 30, 31) cooperate during cutting. The invention is characterized in that at least one of the cutting members (2; 30) comprises a friction element (12; 40) which is so arranged that the object (28; 41) is clamped between the friction element (12; 40) and the other cutting member (3; 31) during cutting.
