The adjustment (17) is positioned, in relation to the pressure plate, holder plate and the tab of the door or window frame hinge, in the middle between the guide pieces positioned on both sides of the adjustment. The adjustment is in the form of a spindle pivotally mounted and axially fixed in the hinge-holder element. The screw head (18) of the spindle is axially fixed in a recess (19) in the externally accessible front wall of the housing of the hinge holder element. The end of the spindle facing away from the screw head is mounted in part (24) of the back wall (14) of the hinge housing of the holder element.
