<p>A compound of Formula (1) and salts thereof wherein A is optionally substituted phenyl or optionally substituted naphthyl; R?1 is NR4R5; R2¿ is H, halo, -COOH, -SO¿2?OH, optionally substituted alkyl, optionally substituted alkoxy, or optionally substituted alkylthio; R?3, R4 and R5¿ are each independently H or optionally substituted alkyl; T is H or sulpho; and B is H, optionally substituted alkyl or optionally substituted phenyl; provided that the compound does not contain a piperazinyl group. The compound is suitable for use as a black colorant in ink jet printing inks especially for printing on plain paper.</p> |
